My wife Tanya said one of her fellow teachers wanted to light luminaria in my honor at the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life on June 12. I felt honored and said I thought about joining, but didn't think I could walk all the way around the track for the Survivors Lap. Tanya said she'd see if she could find a wheelchair and she'd push. I thought I could walk a ways, but she said she wasn't going to push an empty wheelchair around the track until I gave out, so it looks like I'll be pushed around the track.
Friends have said I should do the relay, even if I'm just a cheerleader.
