Monday again

Well, it's Monday again and I shouldn't complain: I should be grateful for every Monday I see. I went home for lunch and went to get the mail. I don't know why; habit, I guess. There's never anything good. Publisher's Clearhouse is never going to declare me a winner. But today was a great day. I got pastries in the mail!
My oncologist wants me to gain weight. He said, "don't worry about nutrition, just get those calories into your body." My stepmom in New York took his words to heart and sent me a care package that contained a box of Devil Dogs and another of Ring Dings. I
f you're not from the Northeast, you may not be familiar with Devil Dogs and Ring Dings -- heaven on Earth. They're snack cakes that many bakeries have tried to duplicate, have come close, but still failed miserably.
So for lunch today I had a Devil Dog, a Ring Ding and Gatorade. Now, if they'd only put in a White Castle, I'd be a really happy man.
Y'know, they've got those closed Starbucks buildings. They're about the size of a White Castle...
