It's amazing how a little extra sleep can change your whole attitude. Yesterday I was draggin' and struggled to make it to 12:30. I left the office and was in bed by 12:45. I woke up at 3 and said to myself "I've GOT to get up and get some work done." I stumbled to the computer and tapped into my e-mail and telephone at the office and took care of a few things and headed back to bed.
By 6:30, my wife Tanya was home and napping, as were my son and daughter, Brian and April. I tip-toed over to the computer and caught up before heading back to bed. At 9 I got up, still the only one up, for a quick snack then back to bed until the alarm went off at 6.
Tanya told me she got up at 2 and graded some papers but was worried because I didn't budge. She didn't hear me breathe or couldn't see my chest rise and fall as I slept. She started to get concerned until there was the slightest of movement in my leg, so she figured I was OK.
I got up this moring full of energy and got a lot of stuff done today.
Amazing what a little sleep can do!
