I was standing in line at a home-provement warehouse this weekend and, after looking at all the little things they hand up near the check-out lanes, I noticed the customer in front of me had a comb-over and a small ponytail. I think it should be one or the other.
When I was younger and had much, much more hair, we never thought long hair would ever go out of style. I thought that if I started going balde, I'd let my hair grow and look like Benjamin Franklin. Times have changed: I have my bald spot but you can see ears, so the Ben Franklin look went by the way side.
It's interesting how fashion is stronger than the rebels who thought they were going to change it for the better.
