The iPod 3G is an amazing piece of technology. The commericals make it attractive to people who can't read, use a dictionary or a telephone book. It's got so many features that when one is driving and scrolling through all the iPod offerings, I think it's distracting to the driver. Most motorists in Amarillo have a hard time just driving. Every time I see someone using one of these hand-held miracles I see the odds rising of them being in an accident with me.
Though I rant about all these idiot drivers, I can identify.
Recently I had my MP3 playing and didn't recognize the song or artist. I glanced down once at the player, but the type was too small for me to see, so I picked up the iPod and waited for the information to scroll up in little, tiny letters.
I found myself drifting out of the driving lane while I waited for the answer to my question. Even though I got the answer to my question, I recognize how easy it is to get into an accident with all this hand-held technology at my fingertips, and I vow not to me allowed to be a slave to Apple.
