Man, I hate having cancer. I'm also not a big fan of the cancer treatment they've got me on. Wednesday's session seemed to have hit me especially weird. After four hours sitting with an IV tube in my chest, they say, "OK, see you in a few days." One of the side effects of the drug combination is tingling in my finger tips and the bottom of my feet. Today, the tingling went from my ankles down and my wrists to the tips of my fingers.
All this tingling makes me walk funny, kind of like Charlie Chaplin, except there's no real feeling in my feet to make contact with the ground and push off.
And the tingling in my hands have left me with no dexterity, which means sweat pants and flip flops. Whooo Hoo! Makin' lemonade out of lemons!
